The teachers Anne and Julie were great and we had so much fun together. The equipment was in very good condition and the communication with the school was easy and we felt in good hands.

Miguel and his team are animated with an incredible energy to bring the best to their client. Communication is super nice, lessons are efficient and the shop is really top. They have 2 sites for kitesurfing which is very convenient when wind is too strong in Tarifa. I highly recommend this top school ! We ve been there for a week with my son and really enjoyed ! Experiencia inmejorable, Miguel es un amor. Fuimos un grupo de amigas de varios países y tuvimos las clases impartidas en inglés y español.

Un gran día de surf magnificos monitores atentos a todos los detalles durante el curso, mis hijos salieron encantados con ellos, muy pacientes y agradables a pesar que los niños sean primerizos en el surf, magnífica experiencia para toda la familia, Miguel sigue así, academias de surf con esa dedicación y atención ya quedan pocas.

One word great! Did wing foil lessons with him. Miguel is genuinely a nice guy, almost to nice:). He is super enthousiastic about the sport and is always honest. After visiting two other shops, that immediately wanted to sell us a lesson for the same day, Miguel was the first to say: Lets check what the wind conditions are and if they suit you. This kind of honousty continued throughout the week with the first three lessons and even when renting, he was so nice to keep in touch on choosing the right spot and kite. Overall perfect experience and just a Good person with a big heart!

Miguel nos explicó todo sobre los cursos con mucho detalle y pasión. Es súper agradable y nos sentimos en buenos manos desde el principio. El curso para principiantes estuvo muy bien, fue divertido y aprendimos a manejar la cometa y los primeros desplazamientos en el agua con la cometa. A parte de aprender nos reímos mucho con los monitores. Todo de 10! Cuando estemos por tarifa la siguiente vez volvemos seguro!

Fui a esta tienda para alquilar una tabla y desde el primer momento la atención fue excelente. Our Kite unfortunately exploded on the beach so we needed to rent. Luckily we reached out to Miguel, he could rent us a great Cabrinha Kite. He also provided us with great advice on the different spots to kite. We would definitely recommend this place to go to!

First came there late afternoon in search of a new kitesurf harness. Received very rare honest advices, not feeling pushed to buy at all. After some time -talks and tries-, got myself a life changing one. Owner been super helpful, gave extra efforts even a little after closing time in the evening. Received the same quality every time I came back there, either for some gear or advices (wetsuit/clothes/infos on the spots). Rented some windfoiling gear after some time, again got amazed by helpfulness and kindness of the owner. If you’re looking for a good place that stays true to it, no doubt get there! Much respect! Miguel es una persona de grande generosidad y humildad! Para contar un poco, soy una surfista y no tengo atracción por el kitesurf. Miguel me propuso tomar una clase de Wingfoil porque las sensaciones son muy especiales y totalmente diferentes que las del kitesurf. Su enseñanza de grande calidad se adapta a tu ritmo. Desde la primera clase me fui al agua con confianza y pudé fluir ya un poco. El tenia razón. Wingfoil es un deporte que va con los elementos; puedes sentir fluidez; no estas luchando contra algo. Elegí esta escuela para iniciarme en el kite porque me transmitió mucha seguridad el sistema de radiocomunicación que usaban. Comenté a 2 personas cual era la escuela en que iba a iniciar el curso, a un amigo mío y al técnico del taller donde fui a hacer algunos arreglas a mi autocaravana. Y me llamó la atención que sin estar el uno delante del otro, los dos describieron a Miguel con las mismas palabras, CALIDAD HUMANA. Y después de haber ido a la tienda y estar haciendo allí mis clases, pude constatarlo. Me ha tratado de maravilla desde el segundo 1 que entré por la puerta. Una persona empática, que practica la escucha activa para darte su mejor consejo u opinión. Solo puedo tener palabras de enorme agradecimiento hacia él. Y profesional 100%. Si estás pensando en iniciarte en este deporte, es muy importante elegir bien en que escuela de las tantísimas que hay en Tarifa lo haces, pues ir a una u otra puede cambiar tu experiencia en gran manera. He hecho hasta ahora dos clases en la escuela. Desde el momento cero Miguel fue muy atento. Me recibieron bien y me explicaron en detalle absolutamente todo. Aprendí no solo lo estrictamente deportivo sino también sobre el lugar y las condiciones particulares del clima. De adecuaron a mi situación particular e hicieron que me sienta cómodo en todo momento. I have rented material for half a day and Miguel has been super super nice to me ! He was friendly, welcoming, he showed interest in my practice of kitesurf to be sure to give me the best material. He even opened a new harness for me to meet my preferences of the type I wanted. He gave me two sizes of wing to be sure I could change if the wind would increase... He is super honnest, speaks good English, is patient. Awesome guy ! Do not hesitate to rent from this shop !

Shop owner is the best ambassador of Tarifa that I've met! He's in the game for the long run, and he's shown repeatedly to have the appropriate quality in mind for my situation. I bought several items from this shop. Owner was very helpful, e.g. in showing me how to mount new accessories on my harness, and he took time to teach me how to trim my lines. Furthermore, in just 1.5wk time, I had an unfortunate coincidence of several damages on my gear occurring, and I was advised by him very well on how to handle, whether my material was still worth the trouble, and what to take into consideration. Repairs were done quickly, qualitatively and at a fair price. Owner at times advises things from other brands/shops that aren't even strictly in his own benefit, because he's got your joy of the sport in mind above all. He's truly passionate, so be nice to him and you're sure to get that vibe in return, quadrupled! Owner is also a Kite/Wave/Wing/SUP instructor himself with loads of experience in several countries, and so whenever you're talking about your material, he'll happily be giving you tons of little technical tips to practice in your next session. This shop by the way is the only shop I found which sells surfing sunglasses of the more affordable brand 'Blow' (while all the other shops sell almost uniquely 'Ocean', which come at quite a higher cost) Furthermore the shop has a really nice bright colored collection of little pouches and bags made out of up-cycled old kites cloth. They're fabricated by a crafty local tailor.

We actually traveled to Tarifa for kitesurfing. Unfortunately, there was too little wind and so we decided to surf. Miguel has lent us the best equipment to surf. He gave us even a new board to use! He was very honest friendly and a real sportsman. You can expect perfect advice for everything about kitesurf, surfing and watersports. I can highly recommend the store!

At first, this shop has very new and qualitative material for every activity to do at the beach. And also the shop owner itself is such a honest guy, who takes time for every customer and puts all effort in to make everyone walking happy out of the shop. Because of the bad wind, we weren‘t able to kite surf, so we rented some surfboards with wetsuits, wich were in perfect condition he even opened a brand new board for us to use. It is a very generous shop and you get tipps with such an expertise. There is nothing to complain about. I can only recommend a visit in this shop!!!

Miguel the owner of the shop has been my go-to from day one I arrived in Tarifa! Unfortunately I had some trouble with my gear and he took all the time in the world to help me find the solution. He took my kites to the repair shop and checked whether the prices would be fair, he advised me on the best kitesurfing glasses, and when my lines were un equal he spent his whole night with me in front of his doorstep explaining to me how to attach pigtails so I could do it myself next time! Lastly, he gave us loads of suggestions were to go kite surfing with specific winds conditions and what techniques we should use with very gusty winds or kites almost falling out of the air. I would advise anyone with repair questions or for lessons to go to Miguel! Quality, patience and fair prices guaranteed! Truly amazing experience!! From entering the school and meeting Miguel we were impressed by his professionalism, kindness and attention to the client needs! To then the lessons with Jose, Gigi and Christian - all extremely careful to safety and giving you constant tips and tricks on how to improve. Experiencia increíble con un equipazo de profesionales!! El año pasado empece las clases privadas con David y este año volví a dar clases, esta vez con Jose. Mi evolución ha sido buenisima y me he sentido segura en todo momento. He conseguido salir del agua y por fin celebrar mi primer ride! Miguels Kitesurf Academy is a 100% recomendation. He takes care about his customers, the equipment is top notch and all the trainers help you anytime. Though I was just renting I could ask them anytime questions and they assisted me. You feel welcome with entering the store which is very nice on top. He tries to make your training and stay the best experience you can get. Besides being extremely helpful he is extremely fair about prices as well. Not at least is there the impression of a rip off as i have experienced in other schools. It was a perfect experience and one of the main reasons for me to come kiting to Tarifa again.

Hace poco hice un curso de kitesurf con ellos, y la verdad es que quedé encantado. El trato fue genial y la experiencia inmejorable. Hay personas que transmiten buena energía desde el primer momento, y así es Miguel. Desde que entras en la tienda y mientras estás con él en la playa en las clases, se nota que para él no eres un cliente, sino un colega del deporte, un amigo. Se nota que tiene pasión por lo que hace. De las clases poco que añadir.. se nota que Miguel es feliz enseñando y viendo como aprendes, los materiales son prácticamente nuevos y de calidad, con enorme variedad para montar lo óptimo según el viento que haga ese día o lo que toque aprender, cascos con auriculares bluetooth para guiarte en todo momento... una pasada todo en general. Hablo de Miguel porque fue quien estuvo con nosotros pero nos presentó al resto del equipo de instructores y todos se veían unas personas de 10. Equipazo con mayúsculas. Si tienes dudas, no sabes si dar el paso, tienes algo de miedo, de verdad, ADELANTE, lo vas a disfrutar muchísimo y vas a aprender con total confianza y seguridad. Great kitesurf school. The instructors are attentive and give great advice. If you want to learn in a good atmosphere, this is the right school. Thanks to the team I learned to be independent and confident in kitesurfing. I also recommend private lessons, for example with a focus on jumps. This allows you to progress faster. Regarding the store great advice on the material. I bought my new kite Cabrinha there :).

As a beginner starting from scratch, I have felt extremely safe and comfortable throughout all the lessons. These guys are very passionate about kitesurfing and will help you progress quickly and at your own pace. Also, I really enjoyed the personal approach and contact! The gear is of high quality aswell. Would recommend Cristian and Miguel to both beginners and advanced riders!

I signed up to a private beginner course in Tarifa, doing around 15 hours in total. I couldn’t recommend KiteWild Tarifa more highly! I was with David as a coach, who taught me in perfect English. He was incredibly passionate, patient and thoughtful in the way he coached, including explaining the theory behind everything. The course was tailored completely to my individual needs and areas to improve, and it felt much more personalised than other lessons I’ve had. David always found a way to adapt the approach if I was struggling with certain movements. I was completely new to kiting, but the team always made me feel safe in the conditions whilst building my confidence to kite independently. If the conditions weren’t right, Miguel was very honest and flexible with the lessons we had, and only charged for the time we used. They’re also just an awesome bunch of people who are great to hang out with! I fully plan to come back!

Ich wünschte, ich könnte mehr als 5 Sterne geben. Ich war Mitte August für 9 Tage in Tarifa. Leider hat uns die "Windhauptstadt Europas" im Stich gelassen und ich konnte nur 11 Stunden in den Tagen nehmen. Miguel hat allerdings dafür gesorgt, das Maximum aus den Windkonditionen für mich rauszuholen, wofür ich ihm sehr dankbar bin. Wir waren ständig über WhatsApp in Kontakt und haben uns abgesprochen, wann es eventuell möglich sein wird zu üben. Die Tanzschule ist mega professionell. Ich habe mich zu jedem Zeitpunkt sehr sicher gefühlt und mir wurde alles geduldig und im Detail erklärt. Die Lehrer sind 100% konzentriert und fokussieren sich auf den einzelnen Schüler. Auch wenn das meine erste Erfahrung mit einer Kitesurf-Schule war, alleine durch das was ich sonst am Strand beobachtet habe bin ich sicher, in einer der besten Schulen vor Ort gewesen zu sein. Auch die Kommunikation über Bluetooth-Helme funktioniert erstaunlich gut und man hat die Hilfe immer im Ohr. Durch Davids (mein Lehrer für die Woche) klare Anweisungen habe ich es in den 11 Stunden geschafft, einige Fahrten auf dem Wasser zu absolvieren und bin sehr motiviert bald wieder auf das Wasser zu kommen! Miguel, danke dir und deinem Team für die tolle Zeit! Ich hoffe, nächstes Jahr wieder kommen zu können. P.S.: Miguels Freundin Sara betreibt das Hotel Cortijo El Pozuelo, was ebenso eine klare Empfehlung ist.

A little team of people from different nationalities really committed with you and your progression. As an example, my instructor, Christian, was unavailable one day and I had to do class with David and I was really surprised because David was up to date about my level, what I was practicing during the last lesson, the mistakes I was doing the previous day and he came with several suggestions to solve those mistakes… I can tell that their goal is not to sell you clases but to make you self-sufficient and independent as soon as possible. They use all brand new state of the art material for the students. All the material that I saw or used for cIases was high quality and new from this year. I myself unboxed some of it. Always paying attention to the safety. Also they were making sure that I was feeling confidence in the water at all times. I just love the spot. I felt it safe and wide open to learn without being overcrowded . The leader of the team, Miguel, is always paying attention to everything so things run smooth and properly. Quality of Instruction + Safety I took five private lessons with Miguel at the Tarifa Kitesurfing Academy, and I had a really amazing experience. Miguel is a true professional who is very knowledgeable and passionate about kitesurfing. He is also a fantastic instructor, coach and person. He truly cares about his students. He provided high quality instruction, with very personalized feedback. His lessons are structured and makes sure to focus on 1-2 things at a time. This is key as a beginner to be able to progress effectively and get the basics down. He is quick to spot mistakes and provides feedback right away, without being overwhelming. When it comes to safety, Miguel did an excellent job. He always made sure that both him and I used safety equipment adequately at all times. He was always very attentive to any unsafe situations that might happen and took measures if necessary right away. This was true for both beach and water. He was very helpful with kite relaunches or when lines got tangled. He would not hesitate to get into the water to support if necessary. Miguel uses latest communication technology for the lessons. I had a helmet with a Bluetooth connected speaker and microphone, by which I could talk to Miguel at all times while in the water and riding. This allows for continuous feedback and guidance, which was really helpful to eliminate mistakes continuously. The kitesurfing equipment was new and in excellent conditions, as he renews all equipment every season. We used Cabrinha kites and board. He was very comunicative and made sure to always choose the spot with the best conditions for learning. He was always on time for every meeting. In summary, I had an unbelievable experience and I would recommend Miguel and the Tarifa Kitesurfing Academy to anyone. Thanks Miguel! Eskerrik asko!!!

This is the best place to go in Tarifa for Kitesurfing lessons! Miguel is so passionate about Kitesurfing and dedicated to improving the ability of his students. I felt very safe and he was always there to guide me through what I needed to do whilst in the water. What I also liked was that he let you do things by yourself so that you know what to expect when you become an independent kitesurfer. Even though I was unlucky with light wind conditions during my stay in Tarifa, I was very lucky to have met Miguel (and his girlfriend Sara). Miguel really made the most of it. He had a brand spanking new 15m2 kite made for light wind conditions and helped me to improve riding upwind and to ride with a large kite. See u next time brother!

I spent September in Tarifa last year and due to no surfable conditions at the time I thought I would give kitesurfing a crack. I decided to book a private lesson and ended up having such an incredible experience. I could see immediately his passion and knowledge of the sport and his enthusiasm and method of teaching had me hooked from my first run. I will never forget that experience and honestly have never had that much fun in the water. Also the bluetooth communication setup he has in the helmets dramatically increased my rate of learning, without that technology it would've taken twice as long to feel semi confident. Thanks again Miguel you're a legend!

The course was amazing, first of all the quality and the progression during the course, but mainly because Miguel is such a nice and friendly guy/instructor that he makes you feel happy. He let me try different gear even after the course was finished.

My friends an I had a great kite experience with Miguel and his team. Everything was perfectly organized and the level of his training is very good. His approach is soft and tailor made for everyone. Based on the level of progression he is able to adapt his style to the trainee needs and supports every step to the kite experience. From small details, like water and energy bars, to key tips, he is great. It was the second time for me with Miguel and I can confirm that he is highly recommended.

I had the luck to spend four days lessons with them and what I can say apart AMAZING. The teachers are super kind and they transmit their passion for this sport as I've never seen before! In less that 4 days I was already with my board riding the waves and joking with the kite and all the fun I had is thanks to them. Taking lessons from Miguel I learned a lot. His instruction was very clear with excellent English and a good focus on safety. We discussed what I needed to learn and he found a fun way to do the teaching using two way bluetooth radio helmets. On the last day we went kiting together which was super cool.

The owner of the school (Miguel) is a very professional and nice guy. Professional in terms of his own kite skills as well as his teaching skills. Miguel is truly committed to his students and has the best materials (e.g. kites, boards, helmets with communication). He helped us around for the whole week which we very much appreciated. I got reccommended Kitewildtarifa through an old friend who is local in Tarifa, a former Kite surf instructor and pro kite surfer himself. It was my first time trying the sport. However, I couldn’t have asked for a better service throughout. Unfortunately, the wind wasnt on my side during the week. Nonetheless, Miguel Angel, owner and coach of Kitesurftarifa wouldn’t take me on a lesson as he was determined to teach me under the proper conditions. I highly reccomemded this company, they will not dissapoint. I will be back again very soon to finish off my course and advance to the next level! Happy Kiting x
